With a lovely blue sky and a promising weather forecast, the weekend looked good.
Great to catch up on some of the QKS members whom hadn't been seen for months and to meet some new ones as well.
The company was great, but the weather forecast not so.
On Saturday the predicted change came late, right about the time that it was time to shake the sand out of kites that had been lying on the beach all day.
I had thought that Sunday was going to be a similar story, but at long last, the white horses way out on the horizon came closer and closer and the change came into the beach right on the low tide.
From then on we were able to do what we do best and at long last the beach at Moore Park was treated to a fantastic kite display.
