Despite concerns about the early tides over the weekend, it turned out to be a brilliant weekend. Saturday bought nice steady South Easters coming into the beach and Sunday North easters. It would have been perfect for a buggy run later in the day, but we did run out of beach as the tide came in.

I'm sure we are all in agreement that it was one of the better festivals held at Moore park over the past few years. Last year another major regional festival was held at the same time, but this year bought good numbers of people to the beach and there was a steady crowd untill about 2-3pm when the tide forced us to pack up and call it a day. The entire festival was well patronised and I'm sure the organisers are pretty pleased with how things went.
The local bowls club held a great Seafood night on Saturday night and so of course it was there that we all got together to satisfy our cravings (some more than others) and it was a great night, hopefully they can do it again next year. We like to think they held it that night just for us!
